As Account Manager – Integrated Photonics, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers, understanding their technical and business needs, and matching them with our cutting-edge solutions. You will play a key role in driving sales growth, identifying new business opportunities, and acting as the primary commercial interface between our company and clients.
Your key responsibilities:
- Manage and grow existing customer accounts while acquiring new clients
- Develop a deep understanding of customers’ applications and requirements in integrated photonics
- Translate technical opportunities into commercial proposals, working closely with product development and engineering teams
- Build long-term partnerships and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
- Prepare account plans, forecasts, and sales reports
- Represent the company at industry events, trade fairs, and conferences
What we’re looking for
- A MSc. degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Photonics, or a related technical field.
- At least 3 years of experience in technical sales, business development, or account management, preferably in photonics, semiconductors, or optics.
- Strong technical affinity and ability to discuss complex technologies with customers
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Proactive, entrepreneurial, commercial mindset with the ability to work independently and in a team
- Willingness to travel internationally
- Knowledge and experience of the defence ecosystem is a plus
- This role requires on-site presence at our office, remote work is not possible
Languages
- Fluent in English
- Dutch or willing to learn to speak Dutch
