Job description
We are seeking highly motivated graduates to join our Quantitative Research Team through our Junior Quantitative Research Talent Program. In this role, you will work as part of an active trading organization, focusing on solving real-world quantitative problems that arise across the trading ecosystem.
As a Junior Quantitative Researcher, you will collaborate closely with experienced researchers, traders, and engineers to analyze data, build models, and address quantitative challenges in live market environments. The role requires strong programming skills and the ability to work efficiently with large datasets, turning research ideas into reliable and performant code.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and solve quantitative problems arising in live trading environments
- Analyze large and complex datasets using statistical and mathematical methods
- Develop models, analytical tools, and research prototypes
- Write efficient, well-structured code for analysis and experimentation
- Work closely with traders, researchers, and engineers to deliver practical solutions
- Validate results through rigorous testing, data checks, and performance analysis
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field (Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science, or similar)
- Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline
- Strong foundations in mathematics, probability, and statistics
- Strong programming skills, with the ability to write efficient and maintainable code
- Experience handling large datasets and computationally intensive tasks
- Familiarity with languages such as Python, C, Java, or similar
- Curiosity, structured problem-solving ability, and ownership mindset
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Recruitment Timeline:
- March 31st - CV Screening results. All candidates will be notified of their application status.
- April 14th - Mandatory on-site testing day. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to our Amsterdam office for a high-intensity evaluation day.
- Late April - HR Interview. A 30-minute conversation focused on organizational fit.
- Early May - Technical Take-Home assignment. A deep-dive take-home task to showcase your coding and research skills.
- Mid/late May - Final Technical Interview. The final interview with members of our research team.
